The Tennessee Titans are deep at the interior defensive line positions. The team has Jeffery Simmons under contract through 2027 and also has high expectations for sophomore second-round pick T'Vondre Sweat in 2025.
General manager Mike Borgonzi also made the wise decision to re-sign Sebastian Joseph-Day earlier this offseason. Elsewhere, versatile inside-outside player Dre'Mont Jones joined via free agency, and Keondre Coburn is a rosterable backup behind Sweat at nose tackle.
Despite that, Borgonzi has fairly consistently shown interest in defensive tackles in the 2025 NFL Draft. The latest update sees the Titans planning to host Tennessee Volunteers defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott on a pre-draft visit, according to a report by Ian Rapoport.
Titans to host Volunteers DT Omarr Norman-Lott on pre-draft visit
Tennessee DT Omarr Norman-Lott has been busy and in-demand, visiting the #Bengals today after being with the #Browns yesterday. He also has the #Bills and #Titans this week and next week, the #Chiefs and #49ers. He has already visited the #Falcons, #Bears, and #Bucs.

Norman-Lott transferred to Tennessee from Arizona State ahead of 2023 after three nonchalant seasons with the Sun Devils. Norman-Lott was productive for the Volunteers in 2023 and 2024, recording 9.5 total sacks and 44 tackles in two combined seasons. He never endured a legitimate breakout campaign, but he was a steady, consistent performer.
Norman-Lott participated in this year's Senior Bowl. He displayed a red-hot motor, first-step quickness, and raw power as a pass rusher. Norman-Lott has a profile that suggests he'll be a better NFL pro.
Norman-Lott was also present at the NFL Combine. The North Highlands, California native measured in at 6-foot-2 and 291 pounds with nearly 33.5 inch arms and 10.75 inch hands. Norman-Lott was a limited participant athletically, posting a stellar broad jump (9-foot-5) and disappointing vertical (31.5 inch) jump.
Overall as a prospect, Norman-Lott blends strength and size with quickness. The Volunteers standout is a well-developed run stopper and possesses the upside required to be a more productive pass rusher moving forward. The ability to anchor against blocks at the line of scrimmage is at the forefront of Norman-Lott's profile.
The Titans are fairly deep at defensive tackle, but Borgonzi and his confidants are quickly intrigued by Norman-Lott's skill set. Hosting him on a pre-draft visit indicates legitimate interest. Norman-Lott could be a surprise pick by the Titans in the 2025 NFL Draft, particularly in a trade-back scenario where the team acquires an additional Day Two selection.
