The 2025 season is off to a rough start for the Tennessee Titans. The team is 0-2, and while fans can be excited about the promising flashes from rookie quarterback Cam Ward, everyone really wants to see the team get in the win column. Tennessee will try to do that on Sunday when they host the Indianapolis Colts for a Week 3 matchup.

Playing in the team’s first AFC South game of the season, the Titans will be trying to do more than just beat Indy. Tennessee will be trying to end a streak of four-straight losses to the Colts.

Titans will be looking for their first win against the Colts in three years

The last time Tennessee recorded a win over Indianapolis was in October of the 2022 season. That also happened to be the Titans’ fifth-straight win over the Colts. Unfortunately for Tennessee, Indy has since snatched the momentum, winning the last four meetings.

While the Titans have lost the last four games, the matchups have been close. The scores have been 23-16, 31-28 (OT), 20-17, and 38-30. All four games have been one-score results, with an average point differential of 5.25. If the trend holds, Sunday’s game should be another close one; Tennessee is just hoping to come out on top this time.

Through two weeks, the two franchises appear to be in very different spaces. The Titans are clearly rebuilding, and trying to improve while getting everyone on the same page. The Colts, on the other hand, are one of the early surprises of the season, starting out 2-0 and looking really good with Daniel Jones at quarterback. However, it’s the NFL, and anything could happen on a given game day.

The Colts will try to move to 3-0, and the Titans will try to pick up their first win of the season, and first win against Indianapolis since 2022.
