Earlier today, it was reported that the Tennessee Titans would like to hire Brian Daboll as soon as possible for their open offensive coordinator position. However, Daboll is still in the mix for head coaching jobs with the Raiders and Bills. Daboll landing with Buffalo would be no surprise as he was the offensive coordinator there from 2018-2021 and helped develop Josh Allen.

However, the Bills are still interviewing candidates and there is a chance that Daboll doesn’t get the job. On the other hand, there is that possibility and the Titans have to prepare for alternatives. Well, they are starting to cast a wider net.

According to Tom Pelissero, the Titans are now planning to interview both Kliff Kingsbury and Adam Stenavich for their offensive coordinator position.

Report: Titans to interview Kliff Kingsbury and Adam Stenavich for OC

Kingsbury was with the Washington Commanders for the last two seasons, which included helping Jayden Daniels with the Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2024. Then Washington's 2025 season fell apart due to various injuries, and the Commanders and Kingsbury decided to mutually part ways earlier this offseason.

Kingsbury was the Cardinals’ head coach from 2019-2022 where he went 28-37-1 and had two seasons at .500 or above. However, there is no doubt that he can put together a solid offense and he could be a great fit for Cam Ward.

As for Stenavich, he has been with the Green Bay Packers since 2019 and was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2022. Stenavich does not call plays for the Packers, as that responsibility belongs to head coach Matt LaFleur. He also worked with new Titans head coach Robert Saleh on the same staff in San Francisco in 2017 and 2018, so there is a little bit of familiarity.

The Titans are in a bit of a situation where so many options could happen that affect that. The one thing is that if they wait for Daboll and he ends up not coming to Tennessee, the Titans also take the risk of losing out on other coordinators. Depending on Buffalo’s search, Tennessee may have to just take the risk and move on from Daboll if the process takes longer than anticipated.
