With the 2024 NFL season officially over, Tennessee Titans fans should be diving head-first into the 2025 NFL Draft.

When it comes to the draft, few people are as well-informed and connected as The Athletic's Dane Brugler.

Brugler's draft rankings are his own. He puts in the work and then confirms what he sees in conversations with college coaches, trainers, NFL coaches, front office members, and pretty much everyone involved in the process at any point.

Brugler's pre-draft rankings are to be taken seriously. Last week, Brugler updated his top-100 for the first time in a few months, and there were some big movers and shakers. While rankings are great tools to familiarize yourself with the high-profile players in this class, what matters is what the Titans can do with that information.

Using Brugler's new rankings to conduct a mock draft on PFF's simulator offers an idea regarding which direction the Titans might be headed in.

TRADE: Round 1 (No. 3): Abdul Carter EDGE, Penn State

The Titans trade the first pick to the New York Giants for Nos. 3 and 34 and a second-rounder in 2026. A trade makes way too much sense for the Titans, and it worked out because quarterbacks went first and second off the board in this mock. Carter is Brugler's second-ranked player behind just Travis Hunter.

However, the Titans have repeated over and over that they want to invest in the offensive and defensive fronts this year. In an incredible EDGE class, Carter stands alone at the top as a potential blue-chip pass rusher.

Round 2 (No. 34): Tyler Booker iOL, Alabama

The best value in this mock, Brugler described Booker, his No. 18 prospect, well when he said, "He is built like a bull, with the play strength and finishing mentality to match." That physicality and mentality will shine under OL coach Bill Callahan. Spoiler alert, there is more on his fit in the next section...

Round 2, (No. 35): Donovan Jackson OL, Ohio State

Donovan Jackson has shot up boards after he made a nearly seamless transition from guard to left tackle in the middle of a championship season for Ohio State. His only hiccup was in his first game where he went against his future teammate in this scenario (Carter).

The easiest way to transition Jackson to the NFL is to let him stay at left tackle and to move J.C. Latham over to his natural right tackle position. A new offensive line of Jackson, Peter Skoronski, Lloyd Cushenberry, Tyler Booker, and Latham would be the best offensive line the Titans have had since Taylor Lewan, Ben Jones, and Rodger Saffold.

The average player on that new-look offensive line would be 23 years old and over 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds. Most importantly, they would be good at football.

That foundation sets up a team for success for years to come and they have an extra second-round pick in next year's draft if they want to move up the board for a quarterback next April.
