Over the last month, the Tennessee Titans have gone full throttle into the NFL Draft process. The team has brought in big-name prospects like Jeremiyah Love, Arvell Reese, Rueben Bain Jr., and many more for Top 30 visits. At the same time, some lesser known prospects have come through the building and completely flown under the radar.

The Titans recently brought in Alabama LB Justin Jefferson for a visit. The linebacker projects to be a late-round pick, which is important considering majority of their visits have been with early-round guys. If they are cashing in a visit for a Day 3 guy, it's fair to assume he's under serious consideration to be a selection on Saturday. So what does Titans GM Mike Borgonzi see in the SEC product?

Robert Saleh likely wants more speed in the linebacker room

At 6 foot and 223 pounds, Jefferson has a smaller frame for an NFL linebacker. He can get pushed around in the trenches, making him hesitant to shoot gaps in the run game. At the same time, his size also works to his advantage. Jefferson offers above-average play speed from the second level, and that could be the reason why the TItans have their eye on him.

The Titans' pass defense was borderline miserable last season. Quarterbacks were having their way with them week in and week out, and more speed in the linebacker room could be the difference. Jefferson also has disciplined eyes and quick change of direction, two traits that are critical in pass coverage.

If drafted, Jefferson isn't likely to come in and take the team by storm. He'll have to work hard to even earn a roster spot, but there's no reason he can't carve out a valuable role as a rookie. Special teams has to be on the front office's mind on Day 3 of the draft, and Jefferson might find his home with Special Teams Coordinator John Fassel.

Jefferson sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the other top-30 visits. It's possible the front office sees traits in the linebacker that other teams haven't caught on to. If that is the case, do not be surprised to hear his name called for the Titans.
