Tuesday was a quieter day for the Tennessee Titans in NFL free agency. New general manager Mike Borgonzi agreed to two contracts with a pair of modest veterans, signing punter Johnny Hekker, and safety Xavier Woods. What the Titans didn't do made more headlines, allowing Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Ryan Stonehouse to depart the team.

Free agency officially opens on Wednesday following the arrival of the new league year and the end of the legal tampering window. The Titans still possess various holes on their roster, including at wide receiver, quarterback, EDGE, and right guard. With that in mind, we've attempted to predict the Titans' next three additions in NFL free agency.

Titans sign DE Charles Omenihu

EDGE remains a massive need for Dennard Wilson's defense. The Titans lack a starting-caliber player at the position with Arden Key as the lone in-house option for a decent-sized role. Key is best suited as a No. 3 rotational rusher, but he's currently the best edge defender on the roster.

Charles Omenihu played for the Kansas City Chiefs last season, meaning Borgonzi is familiar with him. The former Texas Longhorns defender only appeared in six contests as he was recovering from a torn ACL suffered during the 2023 playoffs. Omenihu recorded a career-high seven sacks that year, and could return to form in 2025.

Titans sign QB Mac Jones OR Carson Wentz

The quarterback domino is yet to fall. Even if the Titans plan on drafting Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward at No. 1 overall, they're likely to sign a backup signal caller. It's difficult to imagine Will Levis willingly filling that role in 2025.

The Titans have been loosely linked to Mac Jones and Carson Wentz. Neither player is a starting-caliber quarterback, but could provide a young signal caller with a wealth of veteran wisdom. Bringing back Mason Rudolph is an alternative. The Titans should do something at quarterback by the end of the week.

Titans sign RG Teven Jenkins OR Kevin Zeitler

After signing Dan Moore to play left tackle, and moving JC Latham to right tackle, right guard is the lone remaining hole on Tennessee's offensive line. A multi-year rebuild is nearing completion. The Titans could sign Teven Jenkins or Kevin Zeitler to wrap-up Bill Callahan's transformation.

Jenkins is a tackle-turned-guard who just saw his rookie contract with the Chicago Bears expire. Zeitler is an aging one-year solution, but was still outstanding for the Detroit Lions last season.
