Do the Titans have enough talent to win their first Super Bowl?

12. Carolina Panthers

In 2024, this franchise (and the Jaguars) will take the field for its 30th season. The Carolina Panthers first took the field in 1995. It’s a team that has actually made a pair of Super Bowl appearances. However, it’s also a club that in its somewhat-brief history has never put together back-to-back winning campaigns.

The recent editions of the Panthers have had far more downs than ups, and the team finished with the worst record in the league this past season. Former Buccaneers’ offensive coordinator Dave Canales is the new head coach, and he’s hoping to get quarterback Bryce Young on track after a rough rookie year.

11. Arizona Cardinals

In 2021, the Arizona Cardinals were the last unbeaten team in the NFL at 7-0. Since then and including a 34-11 wild card loss to the Rams that year, the club owns a disturbing 12-33 overall record in their last 45 outings. The team has posted back-to-back 4-13 marks and resided in the NFC West basement each year.

Jonathan Gannon’s club was one of two in the league this past season (Commanders) to go 0-6 versus their divisional rivals. A healthy Kyler Murray would help. Arizona was 3-5 in its final eight games (after a 1-8 start) with him on the field. Gannon’s team needs to show it can stop the run, a major issue in 2023.

10. Tennessee Titans

There’s a new head coach (Brian Callahan) and plenty of new faces for a team that has struggled mightily after winning seven of their first 10 games in 2022. Strong-armed Will Levis is now the main man behind center. The Titans added plenty of aerial weapons, but can Tony Pollard truly replace Derrick Henry?

The club was 1-5 vs. their divisional rivals this past season, the only win coming in Week 18 at home vs. Jacksonville. The Texans, Jaguars, and Colts all finished with winning records in 2023. Still, the AFC South has been won the past two seasons by the team that finished dead last in the division the previous year.
