Tennessee Titans rookie cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. battled a minor injury during the first few organized team activity (OTA) practices that forced him to work on a side field. Now healthy and fully available during the final few practices, Brownlee Jr. made a sizable impact during Tuesday's scrimmage. The former Louisville cover-man intercepted starting quarterback Will Levis, and the Titans' awesome social media team provided this clip for our viewing pleasure.

Brownlee Jr. was in coverage on Titans undrafted wide receiver Bryce Oliver on the play. ESPN's Turron Davenport reports that Oliver fell down while running his route. Brownlee Jr. was in the right place at the right time to capitalize on the error.

The No. 146 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft is jockeying for position in an uber-competitive Titans cornerback room. General manager Ran Carthon transformed the unit by acquiring L'Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie to play alongside Roger McCreary in nickel defense this season.

Brownlee Jr. should be considered the favorite to be Tennessee's No. 4 cornerback this season, but he'll face competition from others. Former first-round pick Caleb Farley is still on the roster, as are former undrafted free agents Tre Avery and Eric Garror, who both played considerable snaps last season.

The aggression put on display by Brownlee Jr. at Tuesday's practice could help him earn additional reps. The Cardinals standout totaled 21 passes defensed and three interceptions across two seasons at Louisville after transferring to the program from Florida State. Titans cornerbacks coach Steve Jackson has been impressed by Brownlee's approach.

"Every day, every rep, every play," Jackson said. "He's a rookie and that sums it up. It's new to him, but he's continuing to progress forward," Jackson concluded.

Titans players will now enjoy a midsummer break before training camp begins in July (date to be announced). Brownlee Jr. built some momentum for himself with an interception in the final voluntary practice. He'll be a rookie worth monitoring throughout preseason action.
