So much attention has been devoted to Will Levis and the Tennessee Titans offense, it can be easy to forget about the defense and how superstar defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons is a weapon for defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson.

When the Titans defense is mentioned, newcomers like L'Jarius Sneed, T'Vondre Sweat, Chidobe Awuzie, Jamal Adams, Kenneth Murray, and Quandre Diggs tend to dominate the conversation. However, when it comes to impact players on this defense, it doesn't take long to remind everyone who the most dominant defender on this roster is.

That was clear when a viral clip of Simmons started making the rounds on Friday morning. It was a clip of Simmons going one-on-one against Seattle Seahawks starting left guard Laken Tomlinson, who he effortlessly tossed the ground.

Before you watch the clip, remember that Tomlinson isn't some scrub. He is a 6-foot-3 and 320-plus pounds guard who was a first-round pick in 2015. Since being drafted, Tomlinson has started in nearly 150 games, including 134 of the last 135 games over the previous seven years.

All of that size and experience couldn't help him at all when Simmons hit him with a move in the video below:

While this clip is getting a lot of attention, Jim Wyatt was quick to point out that this has been the norm for Simmons during camp. In his observation notes from Thursday, he said,

"Defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons once again looked unblockable in these practices, and he let the Seahawks know about it again and again and again. Simmons threw Seahawks guard Laken Tomlinson to the ground on one play, and yelled: 'I do this s&*t!'"

That's not just Wyatt, who's practice observations are must-read, hyping Simmins up. It passes the smell test. In that clip, Simmons destroys Tomlinson so badly that he makes him do an involuntary cartwheel on the ground.

If that is how Wyatt describes that rep, then it might be because Wyatt has become desensitized to that level of domination from Simmons.

With Wilson's aggressive play calling, Simmons won't be getting double teamed at nearly the rate he was in the past. If this is a "normal" play that Simmons makes in one-on-one situations, he could be in for a career season.

Simmons recorded 5.5 sacks in 12 regular-season appearances last year. An injury sidelined him for five contests. Simmons will aim to enjoy a career-best year under the tutelage of the aggressive Wilson.
