Titans AFC South division odds still underwhelming despite Calvin Ridley signing
The Tennessee Titans are in rebuild mode after letting go of head coach, Mike Vrabel, and hiring Brian Callahan to take over, the former offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals. They've also moved on from their star running back, Derrick Henry.
With that being said, the Titans have already made moves in an attempt to be competitive next season, including signing running back Tony Pollard and wide receiver Calvin Ridley.
Let's take a look at where the Titans sit in terms of their odds to win the AFC South after the first few weeks of the offseason.
Titans AFC South odds
The good news is the Titans' odds have improved. At the start of the offseason, they were listed at +700 to win the AFC South.
The bad news is they're still a distant fourth. The Houston Texans are set as the betting favorites with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts relatively close behind. Then there's the Titans, who are all alone in fourth on the odds list at +600.
At +600, the Titans are being given an implied probability of 14.29% of winning the division in 2024. If you were to bet $100 on them to do so, you'd win a profit of $600 if they're able to achieve the improbable feat.
This shouldn't come as too big of a surprise to Titans' fans. There is plenty of work to be done on this roster, including figuring out who their QB will be moving forward and if Will Levis is the guy they can rely on.
