The Titans scored a massive upset win against the Dolphins against Monday Night Football and will look to play spoiler for the Texans playoff hopes on Sunday in Week 15 action.

Both running backs Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears have been contributing in the backfield, and each can stay hot against a banged up Houston Texans defense. With some uncertainty on the Texans side and who will start at quarterback with CJ Stroud still in concussion protocol, let's focus on both running backs on Sunday.

Best prop bets for Texans vs. Titans in Week 15

  • Derrick Henry OVER 67.5 rushing yards
  • Tyjae Spears OVER 15.5 receiving yards

Derrick Henry OVER 67.5 rushing yards

The Texans rush defense is top 10 in EPA/Rush, but the team is battling injuries to the likes of star rookie pass rusher Will Anderson. Further, the team may be onto a backup quarterback in Davis Mills and Case Keenum, meaning that the Titans are more likely to be ahead in this one, indicated in the point spread that has Tennessee as a three-point home favoirte.

If the Titans are ahead it can play bully ball with Henry on the ground, who is averaging 67 yards per game this season. However, given the higher chance of a positive game script, I'll go over and a better than expected output from the bruising back.

Tyjae Spears OVER 15.5 receiving yards

Spears has emerged as a key cog in the Titans offense, a change of pace back is only 5'10" but has showcased elite speed as a runner and a passer, ripping off chunk plays all season long.

Spears has gone over this mark in six games this season, but we saw last week how valuable he is in the passing game, catching six of his eight targets for 89 yards, including a 30-yard reception.

As the Titans continue to try and acclimate in rookie quarterback Will Levis, I expect Spears to be schemed up on a handful of passes to put the speedy RB in space and he can easily clear this one with one catch alone.
