Titans address Brian Callahan's recent needs in this 7-round 2024 NFL mock draft
By Ryan Heckman
The Tennessee Titans have been one of the more impressive teams this NFL offseason. The additions they've made have not gone unnoticed.
Tennessee seems to be going all-in on Will Levis, and a lot sooner than we might have anticipated. The moves made this offseason suggest that the Titans think they can compete right now.
After some good moves during free agency, the Titans turn their attention to the 2024 NFL Draft.
Just a few days ago, head coach Brian Callahan gave us an idea of two areas the Titans could still improve greatly upon. With those two positions in mind, let's get into our latest mock.
The Titans take Brian Callahan's analysis to heart in this 2024 NFL mock draft
The first position Callahan mentioned getting better at was tight end. Now, this isn't a knock against Chigoziem Okonkwo. But, it simply means that room is unfinished.
With their first selection at no. 7 overall, the Titans waste no time and draft the best tight end in the class, and a guy many believe is a top-10 player overall. Georgia's Brock Bowers is as good a tight end prospect as you'll find in recent memory, and is truly a wide receiver in a tight end's body.
Bowers is someone who can line up anywhere, whether it be outside, in the slot, inline, or even as an H-back. He's a player the Titans could get overly creative with and get him the football in many different ways. He's a strong catcher of the football and possesses sticky hands, being able to run a variety of routes as well.
He's a tight end that can do just about whatever is asked of him, and he's used to being the focal point of an offense. He can handle a lot of targets and will make use of them, too. Over his three seasons at Georgia, and in an offense that had a lot of mouths to feed, Bowers caught 175 passes for 2,538 yards and 26 touchdowns.
