After the Tennessee Titans made their roster cuts on Tuesday, the next order of business was to put together a practice squad.
The 53-man roster may be tentatively set, but Tennessee now gets an opportunity to bring back some players while potentially signing other ones to come back and be part of the practice squad, which allows a team to keep additional players they can elevate on game days.
This gives the team a chance to maybe bring back a few players which fans had thought might make the roster, to begin with, or showed some promise during training camp and preseason.
Tennessee Titans 2024 practice squad members
Isaiah Iton, DT
The undrafted free agent out of Rutgers, and formerly Ole Miss, totaled 38 tackles in his final collegiate season.
Bryce Oliver, WR
The former Youngstown State wide receiver has yet to play in a regular season game, but did show out on a stellar touchdown reception during this year's preseason.
Cole Spencer, IOL
The Texas Tech product will give Tennessee some added depth on the interior offensive line.
Gabe Jeudy-Lally, CB
Undrafted out of Tennessee, Gabe Jeudy-Lally is a Swiss Army Knife at cornerback who gets into the back field and can also make plays on the ball.
Jabari Small, RB
Another former Tennessee Volunteer gets to stay close to home as Jabari Small gets a job on the Titans' practice squad. He ran for over 2,100 yards and 24 touchdowns in college.
Khalid Duke, DE
Undrafted out of Kansas State, Khalid Duke's rookie season will be spent as a practice squad member here in Tennessee. In his final year with the Wildcats, Duke registered 8.0 sacks.
Mason Kinsey, WR
The three-year veteran has mostly served special teams purposes and will get a chance to fill in, potentially, if the Titans need him in that realm.
Corey Levin, C
Originally a sixth-round pick by the Titans back in 2017, Levin hangs around.
Anthony Kendall, CB
After playing 75 percent of special teams snaps last year with the Titans, defensive back Anthony Kendall returns to the team, but this time on the practice squad.
Leroy Watson, OT
The undrafted free agent a year ago played for the Browns in 2023, and now gets a shot with the Titans.
Abdullah Anderson, DT
After playing for five teams over his first five regular seasons, Anderson will hope to get some action, during the regular season, with his sixth team in as many years.
Tre Avery, CB
Having spent the past two years with Tennessee, Avery isn't going anywhere, yet.
What are the NFL practice squad rules and regulations?
NFL practice squads can hold up to 16 players in total, with one of them being allowed as an international pathway player. The practice squads can hold up to six veterans (two vested veterans; i.e. players with at least two seasons under their belt).
After players clear waivers by 11 a.m. CT on Wednesday, they are eligible to be added.
During the regular season, teams have the ability to sign players from other teams' practice squads onto their active roster. But, each week, teams can also elevate two players to their game day roster. Players may only be added to the game day roster three times, during the season, before they must become part of the active roster.
