Titans get a little desperate in this final 2024 NFL mock draft
By Ryan Heckman
In Round 5, the Titans get a guy who could end up being this year's Puka Nacua. The brother of San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey comes into the NFL as a wide receiver who does one thing exceptionally well. Luke McCaffrey gets open. He simply gets open, giving his quarterback one of the best gifts they can ever be given.
With McCaffrey's footwork being that of a purebred football player, thanks to his strong heritage, he's a natural route runner like his father was. His speed won't blow you away, but McCaffrey is going to be a good player in this league because of the fundamentals.
Tennessee grabs a versatile offensive lineman in Round 6 with Arkansas center Beaux Limmer. Having the ability to play either guard or center, Limmer might even come in right away and compete for playing time, depending on how the Titans view their starting five at the moment.
At 6-foot-5 and a shade over 300 pounds, Limmer could afford some more mass. But, he also moves very well for a man his size. He's one of the more athletic interior linemen in this class, which is another reason he'll be a coveted Day 3 prospect.
