2. Running Back

Second year player Tyjae Spears was electric last year playing behind Derrick Henry and is now joined by free agent acquisition Tony Pollard. Health permitting, Spears and Pollard should play the majority of the snaps at running back this season with their head coach believing both players are capable of being starting level players.

Behind Spears and Pollard, there's an open competition featuring UDFA Jabari Small as well as returning Titans Hassan Haskins and Julius Chestnut. It'll be interesting to see if the team keeps three or four running backs on the roster as this group could provide special teams value in addition to occasional depth snaps at running back.

1. Wide Receiver

At the end of last season, most Titans fans wouldn't have imagined wide receiver as a deep position on the roster, but that speaks to the work that general manager Ran Carton has done this offseason bringing in established veterans in Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd to join DeAndre Hopkins.
This group should see the majority of snaps in the Titans revamped offense that's expected to lean heavily on three wide receiver sets. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Treylon Burks offer terrific depth.

Sixth round rookie Jha'Quan Jackson, Kyle Phillips, Colton Dowell, Kearis Jackson, Mason Kinsey, Tre'shaun Harrison, and rookie UDFAs Bryce Oliver and Sam Schnee will fight for one or two roster spots in developmental and special teams roles. This is a huge improvement from last year when a number of these players were in contention for the third or fourth wide receiver on the depth chart.
