8. Tight End

Chig Okonkwo has proven to be a valuable pass catcher and passable run blocker over his first two NFL seasons. Veteran Nick Vannett is a reliable blocker, but offers little in terms of pass-catching upside. Thomas Odukoya has been with the Titans for the past two seasons as part of the NFL's International Player Pathway program, but hasn't been a part of the active roster yet. UDFAs David Martin-Robinson and Steven Stilianos are long shots to crack the 53-man roster come September.

Second year player Josh Whyle could be competing with Okonkwo for starting snaps as a bigger body that can both stretch the field and block, but the University of Cincinnati product has only seen 15 targets across 11 games. Despite the limited production at the NFL level, Whyle has a chance to push this group much higher up the list this time next season.

7. Defensive Line

The Titans hope to have two legit difference makers along the defensive line in Jeffrey Simmons and rookie T'Vondre Sweat. Veteran Sebastian Joseph-Day was brought in this offseason and should be capable of providing quality rotation snaps, or filling in if one of Simmons or Sweat misses a game or two.

The depth completely drops off after these three players as Marlon Davidson, TK McClendon, Keondre Coburn, Quinton Bohanna, and Isaiah Iton don't inspire confidence to be big contributors for this team. Should Simmons or Sweat miss an extended period of time, the Titans will need to make a move along the defensive front.
