PFF's Top 3 players on Titans roster proves how underrated they are entering 2024

Just look at that trio!

No one is giving the Tennessee Titans much love this offseason and Trevor Sikkema of PFF falls into that category. Sikkema recently listed the three best players for every team and he noted that it was difficult to find three players to put there for Tennessee.

When looking at the three players he included for them, however, it's a good-looking trio. Sikkema put Jeffery Simmons as the best player on the Titans' roster despite having what he considered to be a down year in 2023. Next up is DeAndre Hopkins, who is coming off his first year as a Titan and finishing with over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns. Last is the newly acquired L'Jarius Sneed, who had a season-saving play for the Chiefs in the AFC title game by popping the ball out of Zay Flowers' hands to prevent a touchdown and get KC the ball back.

All three of these players are crticial to Tennessee's success in 2024 but Sikkema said it was tough to come to this decision. He mentioned that without Derek Henry in Titans blue, the team doesn't look nearly as daunting.

Titans are criminally underrated in 2024

That being said, Simmons has been a beast throughout his career, Hopkins will now have other weapons taking the heat off of him and getting him more opportunities to get open, and Sneed will be hungry to prove he was worthy of the extension Tennessee signed him to. If things go according to plan, the Titans will be better than people think.

Their success this year will also hinge on how Will Levis does in his first full year as a starter. The hope is that Brian Callahan can come in and help turn him into a solid starting quarterback but this will be Callahan's first year as a head coach so there will likely be some growing pains.

Let's hope that not only the three players Sikkema listed go on to ball out in 2024 but that the Titans have other strong contributors as well and that they can shock the NFL world.
