PFF mock draft has Titans landing a stud for their offensive line

Well this would be a dream now, wouldn't it?

The Tennessee Titans will be entering a new era now that Mike Vrabel has been fired. We don't know who the Titans are bringing in to replace him yet but this is a team with a lot of needs. Fortunately for them, they hold the seventh overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. That means they should be able to land a franchise player for the impending rebuild.

Pro Football Focus did a mock draft for the Titans and had them hitting the jackpot with their first-round pick, adding Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt to their o-line.

Titans hit the jackpot in PFF mock draft

Alt is a projected starting left tackle for whichever NFL team is lucky enough to draft him. With the Titans heading into year two of the Will Levis experiment, having an offensive tackle who is capable of protecting him is vital. Levis was sacked 28 times in his nine starts and getting hit so much led to him injuring his ankle and missing the final game of his rookie year.

As for the rest of this mock, the Titans definitely need more receivers. They'll have DeAndre Hopkins back in 2024 (more than likely, at least) and Levis did play well with the guys he had at his disposal but just imagine him Emeka Egbuka out there catching passes from him. Egbuka's 2022 season stands out a lot more than his 2023 season, as he had over 1,100 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns that year.

Adding depth to the offensive line and in the secondary would be wise moves for Tennessee as well.
