The Tennessee Titans swung for the fences this offseason, acquiring cornerback L'Jarius Sneed in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Titans received Sneed while sending a 2025 third-round pick to the Chiefs while also swapping seventh-round picks in the 2024 draft.

Sneed helped the Chiefs win two Super Bowls and was a huge part of their defense during the 2023 season. Fortunately for the Titans, the Chiefs didn't want to commit to Sneed long-term, which is why they were willing to trade him away for basically pennies.

Unfortunately, Sneed admitted that he was pretty peeved about the trade. While appearing on The Pivot, Sneed said that the Chiefs showed him the way and made him a champion. He said he was bitter and angry because he wanted to stay in Kansas City.

While Sneed confessed about being angry about the trade, he clearly was fine being in Nashville, as he inked a massive contract upon arriving to his new team. Sneed and the Titans agreed on a four-year deal worth $76.4 million, tying him to Tennessee for the foreseeable future.

Sneed immediately gives the Titans some major help in the secondary and fans were glad to welcome him to the team. A play for fans to watch when explaining how big of an addition Sneed will be to this group is in the AFC Championship Game when the then-Chiefs cornerback punched the ball out of Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers' hands, preventing a touchdown that could have given the Ravens momentum.

That play helped keep the momentum on Kansas City's side and, in turn, propelled them to yet another Super Bowl appearance. While the Titans probably aren't going to be quite on that level this year, Sneed will help a team looking to improve from their last-place finish in the AFC South a season ago.

Let's hope he's up to the task because the Titans paid him big bucks.
