Tennessee Titans No. 1 wideout DeAndre Hopkins was hurt on the final offensive play of the team’s matchup with the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, and he did not practice all week.

However, it appears he's going to try to give it a go in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Hopkins is expected to play, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Here’s everything you need to know about this Hopkins injury.

DeAndre Hopkins injury status for Week 2 game against Los Angeles Chargers

DeAndre Hopkins is listed as questionable in Week 2, but he is expected to attempt to play against the Saints.

Best Tennessee Titans prop for NFL Week 2 vs. Chargers

Derrick Henry anytime touchdown scorer

I know that Treylon Burks would likely see an uptick in targets in Week 2 if Hopkins is limited, but I’m not sold on Ryan Tannehill and this Titans' passing game.

Instead, I'd rather back Derrick Henry to find the end zone in Week 2 since the Chargers allowed a rushing score to Raheem Mostert in Week 1 and were one of the league’s worst defenses against the run in 2022.

Henry is still the best weapon the Titans have on offense, so I’ll trust him over any of the receivers Tennessee has.

DeAndre Hopkins injury history

DeAndre Hopkins has been one of the healthiest players in the NFL during his career, mainly because he’s been able to play through injuries. He’s appeared in at least 15 games in eight of his first 10 NFL seasons.

He did miss time in the 2021 campaign with two injuries, one being a hamstring issue and the other being a torn MCL that knocked him out for the rest of the season in December.

However, outside of that and his suspension for PEDs in 2022, Hopkins is almost always on the field.
