The Tennessee Titans held their first practice of the week on Wednesday ahead of Sunday's Week 2 home opener against the New York Jets. Head coach Brian Callahan said it was all hands on deck prior to Wednesday's session and the injury report proves him correct. Most notably, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was removed from the injury report altogether, and veteran safety Jamal Adams was listed as a full participant.

DeAndre Hopkins

Hopkins was a limited participant in all three practices leading up to the Bears game. Hopkins was active, but only played 17 snaps, accounting for 26.56% of Tennessee's offensive plays, according to Pro Football Reference's charting. He was targeted just once, recording a reception for eight receiving yards.

Treylon Burks, who replaced Hopkins as Callahan's "X" receiver on most plays, played 44 snaps by comparison. It's safe to say Titans starting quarterback Will Levis missed Hopkins on Sunday. Hopkins, who accumulated over 1,000 receiving yards for the Titans last season, was Levis' most familiar target in 2023 and his most notable returning playmaker this year after the team added Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd in the offseason.

Callahan said Hopkins should receive closer to a full workload against the Jets, as opposed to the limited pitch count he got in Week 1. Removing him from the injury report altogether strongly suggests he's nearing full strength.

Jamal Adams

Adams returned to practice after missing all three sessions last week en route to sitting out the Bears game. Callahan initially called Adams playing Sunday, "a possibility," before the veteran safety met with reporters and declared himself ready and available. It's safe to assume he's excited to make his Titans debut.

And why wouldn't he be? Adams is likely eyeing Sunday's game versus the Jets as a revenge game opportunity. He spent the first three seasons of his professional career playing for the Jets, making two Pro Bowls in the process, before they traded him to the Seattle Seahawks in an offseason blockbuster just as he was entering the final year of his rookie contract.

Dillon Radunz, Otis Reese IV

Dillon Radunz is listed as a full participant with a rib designation. He momentarily exited Tennessee's Week 1 game with that injury and was replaced at right guard by Andrew Rupcich. Radunz eventually returned, and clearly isn't in danger of missing Sunday's home opener.

Inside linebacker Otis Reese returned to full practice participation after being limited in every session last week. He was eventually ruled out of Week 1 with a concussion he suffered during the preseason. Reese could be active ahead of James Williams on Sunday.
