The Tennessee Titans released their first injury report of the new season on Wednesday heading into Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Chicago Bears. The Titans appear extremely healthy going into the weekend. Most notably, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is listed as a limited participant with a knee injury. His involvement in Wednesday's practice session is excellent news for his status on Sunday.

Hopkins suffered a knee injury in late July that threatened his early-season availability. The reported timeline was four-to-six weeks. Even being a limited participant at Wednesday's practice indicates Hopkins is trending towards being a full-go for franchise quarterback Will Levis on Sunday, though we'll monitor his status throughout the rest of the week.

A notable absentee from the injury report altogether is superstar cornerback J'Jarius Sneed. Acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Kansas City Chiefs in the offseason, Sneed missed the majority of training camp as part of the team's workload management plan to keep him healthy. He's dealt with recurring knee soreness in the past, but all current signs point to Dennard Wilson's No. 1 cornerback being 100% ready for Sunday's showdown with Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams.

Sneed's primary partner at boundary corner will be Chido Awuzie, who missed the entire preseason after suffering a multi-week calf injury in camp. The Titans approached that setback with caution, a familiar theme to how they dealt with injuries this summer. Awuzie was also a full-go at practice, meaning he'll start at outside cornerback.

The one concern on the injury report is the status of veteran safety Jamal Adams. Adams missed the majority of training camp with what the Titans often called "general soreness." The expectation was that like Sneed and Awuzie, he'd be at practice when those sessions started counting.

That's not necessarily the case. Adams is listed on the report as a non participant with a hip injury designation. Adams spoke with members of the media after practice, claiming, "I'm almost there," when asked how close he feels to full strength.

Linebacker Otis Reese was a limited participant with a concussion. Reese suffered the concussion during the preseason and missed the exhibition finale. He's presumably still being somewhat held back. He's mostly expected to play on special teams with the Titans are expected to start Kenneth Murray and Ernest Jones IV at off-ball linebacker, with two-down thumper Jack Gibbens playing a role on run-stopping downs.
