CBS cameras caught Brian Callahan yelling at Will Levis after another dumb fumble

We were all thinking the same thing.

The Tennessee Titans are battling the New York Jets in Week 2 and for the second straight week, Will Levis did something stupid that resulted in a turnover. In Week 1, he had the abysmal pick-six to the Bears defense that helped them get the win.

This week, Levis shoveled the pass backwards and bad things happened from there. The Jets recovered desite the Titans being in a goal-to-go situation and the second-year quarterback's decision-making (or lack thereof) led to another key turnover in two games.

Here's where it gets even worse for Levis though. As the young quarterback was heading to the sideline, head coach Brian Callahan was caught mouthing "Hey, what the f**k are you doing?!" to his signal-caller. Not good.

Brian Callahan is beyond frustrated with Will Levis' decision-making

This isn't the first time Callahan has been annoyed at his quarterback. Following their Week 1 loss to the Bears, Callahan said that the Titans could have won if they just punted every time, clearly a shot at how Levis and the Titans offense weren't doing enough.

This season is a massive one for Levis to prove that he can be the franchise quarterback the Titans need him to be. So far, he has not proven to be that guy but we're still incredibly early into the 2024 season and there's time for him to reverse course and stop making these silly mistakes that lead to turnovers.

Callahan has a right to be peeved with his quarterback here. The Titans were in the red zone and could have put the Jets behind by at least 10 points if the drive stalls and they have to settle for a field goal. By Levis making a stupid decision to shovel the pass backward rather than just take the sack, the Titans didn't get any points on the drive and gave the ball back to the Jets.

Hopefully, Levis learns from these mistakes he's made in his first two starts of the 2024 season but if he doesn't, Callahan will probably have no problem moving on from him when the 2024 season is over.
