Week 9 of the 2023 NFL season kicks off Thursday night from the Steel City as the Titans travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers. There are a ton of standout players in this primetime contest, making this a fun game to put together a same-game parlay together.

With a same-game parlay, bettors can take two or more of their favorite bets from a particular game and put them together in hopes of a big payout. For Thursday night’s game, I’ll be using DraftKings Sportsbook to hopefully compile a winning same-game parlay, using sides, totals, and player props.

Best Same Game Parlay Picks for Titans vs. Steelers (+1600)

  • DeAndre Hopkins OVER 52.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
  • Derrick Henry OVER 72.5 Rushing Yards (-125)
  • Diontae Johnson Anytime Touchdown (+195)
  • Jaylen Warren OVER 23.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

DeAndre Hopkins OVER 52.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Nuk Hopkins is coming off his best game in a Titans uniform last week against the Falcons. The 31-year-old wide receiver was the go-to option for rookie quarterback Will Levis as he had four receptions (six targets) for 128 yards. It was an incredible performance from Hopkins, who has gone over 100-plus yards in two out of his last three games.

I expect Levis to pepper Hopkins with targets on Thursday night against a Steelers’ defense that allows the eighth-most receiving yards to WRs this season. Hopkins has gone OVER 52.5 yards in four out of his last five games.

Derrick Henry OVER 72.5 Rushing Yards (-125)

The superstar running back started the regular season slowly but has picked up over the last three weeks. Henry went off against the Falcons’ defense last week, rushing for 121 yards on 22 carries (4.6 yards per carry). He will try to have another 100-yard rushing performance against the Steelers, who have allowed 137.1 yards per game this season (sixth-most in the NFL).

We should expect a ton of work for Henry as Levis is only making his second career start and will be facing an explosive Steelers’ pass rush that features T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith. Henry has gone OVER 72.5 rushing yards in four out of his last seven games and has had at least 20-plus carries three times.

Diontae Johnson Anytime Touchdown (+195)

For the Steelers to get into the win column on Thursday night, Kenny Pickett will need to put the ball in the air and hopefully find his receivers in the red zone. Diontae Johnson will try to help, as he hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 16 of the 2021 season. It’s been a long time for the veteran wide receiver, who is coming off a solid outing against the Jaguars (eight receptions for 85 yards).

Johnson also had 14 targets in the game, including two inside the red zone. The Titans have only allowed six touchdowns to wide receivers this season. However, they are ranked 32nd in DVOA-WR1 this season, according to ftnfantasy.com.

Jaylen Warren OVER 23.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

For our final leg, we’ll take the over on Jaylen Warren’s rushing yards prop. With Pickett dealing with a rib injury, the Steelers must be committed to running the football on Thursday with Najee Harris and Warren. The 25-year-old running back only produced 19 yards on five carries in last week’s loss to the Jaguars.

The Titans have been solid at stopping the run this season, allowing 107.4 yards per game (16th in the NFL). However, we aren’t looking for a ton of yards or carries for Warren to hit this over. Warren has gone over 23.5 rushing yards in four out of his last seven games, recording at least eight carries three times.
