Best NFL Prop Bets for Seahawks vs. Titans in Week 16

Breaking down our favorite prop bets for Sunday's matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Tennessee Titans.

The Tennessee Titans will look to snap their two-game home losing streak on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. The Titans dropped a tough game last week to the Houston Texans, losing 19-16 in overtime.

In addition to the result on the field, the Titans will likely not have rookie quarterback Will Levis, who suffered an ankle sprain in the loss. Veteran Ryan Tannehill will jump back into the starting spot on Christmas Eve.

I found two Titans props that bettors might want to look at despite Tannehill potentially getting the start on Sunday afternoon.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Seahawks vs. Titans in Week 13

  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba OVER 42.5 receiving yards (-115)
  • Chigoziem Okonkwo OVER 32.5 receiving yards (-115)
  • Derrick Henry OVER 15.5 rushing attempts (-130)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba OVER 42.5 receiving yards (-115)

The rookie wide receiver has a tremendous matchup on Sunday against the Titans’ defense, which has allowed 51.4 receiving yards per game to WR3s this season.

Smith-Njigba had a solid game against the Eagles last week, where he recorded four receptions (four targets) for 48 yards and caught the game-winning touchdown. He’s also gone OVER 42.5 receiving yards in only six out of 14 games this season. With the Titans’ defense worrying about D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, it wouldn’t shock me to see JSN hit the OVER on Sunday.

Chigoziem Okonkwo OVER 32.5 receiving yards (-115)

Okonkwo is starting to heat up over the last four games for the Titans, which is a good sign heading into this week’s matchup against the Seahawks. This season, Seattle’s defense is ranked 17th in DVOA-TE and has allowed 51.8 receiving yards per game to the position, per ftnfantasy.com.

Okonkwo is Tennessee’s next-best pass-catching option after DeAndre Hopkins. The second-year tight end had three receptions (three targets) for 36 yards in last week’s loss to the Texans.

Over his last four contests, Okonkwo is averaging 47.3 receiving yards and five targets per game. Even with the possibility of Ryan Tannehill starting on Sunday, I still have faith that the young tight end can get at least 33 yards.

Derrick Henry OVER 15.5 rushing attempts (-130)

Henry hasn’t looked like the same running back we’ve seen over the past few years this season in Tennessee. However, that hasn’t stopped the team from giving their star running back a ton of work in the running game.

The 29-year-old running back struggled last week against the Texans’ defense as they held him to nine rushing yards (season-low) on 16 carries. Despite his struggles on the ground, Henry has averaged 18 carries per game in his last four games.

He’ll try to get back on track against the Seahawks’ defense, which is ranked 25th in opponent rushing yards (127.3) and 24th in opponent rushing attempts per game (28.6) this season. With Tannehill likely under center, I believe the Titans will try to establish the run on Sunday.
