5 bold predictions for the Tennessee Titans in the 2023 NFL draft

3. The Tennessee Titans will be stuck in purgatory
We thought we were going to get a good idea of what the Tennessee Titans thought of themselves in free agency this year, but they didn't do anything aggressive enough to draw a conclusion. If they had given out a big contract to a veteran at a position of need like offensive tackle or wide receiver, or made a surprising move we could have drawn some conclusions, but it just didn't happen.
Now all eyes are on the draft to get a definitive answer on what the Tennessee Titans will be in 2023, but I just don't know if we are going to get it.
Based on everything we have seen, Carthon and Vrabel have taken the conservative approach to team building this year and despite all the smoke around a trade-up, their visits have pointed towards a trade-down for a while.
Most people are expecting a big move for a quarterback or for there to be a mass exodus of veterans like Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, and Kevin Byard, but I think this is going to be a team that predictably finishes with a 7-10 record.
