1. CB L’Jarius Sneed

There has already been mention of one of the Titans’ top additions in the secondary. Now the Tennessee Titans have quite the pair of bookends at cornerback. Teaming with former Bengals’ standout Chidobe Awuzie is a four-year performer who knows a lot about playing in the postseason, especially on Super Bowl Sunday.

Welcome to Nashville, two-time NFL champion L’Jarius Sneed. Both of these players signed substantial deals with the club this offseason, the latter a four-year, $76.4 million extension (via Spotrac) after he was obtained from the Chiefs via trade in late March.

“We paid a lot of money to get those two guys on the outside,” explained Titans’ general manager Ran Carthon (via Teresa Walker of the Associated Press. “So, I expect those guys to play, you know, really well.”

Sneed comes off an impressive four-year run with Andy Reid’s team. The 2020 fourth-round pick from Louisiana Tech has already played in a total of 13 postseason games. His 57-game regular-season resume includes 10 interceptions, three fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles, 6.5 sacks and 40 passes defensed.

Far more than just a “cover corner,” the well-rounded performer gives new defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen (late of the Falcons) a lot of options. There could be some interesting upcoming clashes with new Texans' wide receiver Stefon Diggs, whom Sneed is certainly well acquainted with.
