3. CB Chidobe Awuzie
He began his NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, and spent the past three years in the Queen City. Injuries have been a factor as of late, and he’s only played every game in a season just once and that was in 2019 with Dallas. He’s picked off just six passes, but he’s been credited with 62 passes defensed.
Awuzie’s big year came back in 2021 in his debut campaign with Cincinnati. He played and started 14 games for Zac Taylor’s club. He finished with 64 tackles, a pair of interceptions, and totaled 14 passes defensed. During the team’s four-game Super Bowl run, he added 24 stops and another interception.
2. WR Calvin Ridley
Some may be surprised that this talented wideout and former first-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons wasn’t the top choice on this list. The Titans have a gamebreaker to team with rejuvenated veteran DeAndre Hopkins and also robbed the rival Jacksonville Jaguars of their top wide receiver from 2023.
Again, the new offensive coordinator in Nashville is Nick Holz. He knows plenty about Calvin Ridley after serving as the Jaguars’ passing game coordinator this past season. The talented wideout comes off a season in which he totaled 76 catches for 1,016 yards and eight scores in his first action since October of 2021.
