3. WR/KR Devin Duvernay (Jaguars)

Tennessee’s special teams, save for kicker Nick Folk, didn’t do the club any favors in 2023. Via Rick Gosselin’s annual rankings, the Titans finished a so-so 21st. For this exercise, the team finished 24th and 16th, respectively, in the NFL in punt and kickoff return average allowed.

That’s not very promising news considering the rival Jaguars just added kick return standout Devin Duvernay, late of the Ravens. He played in only 13 games this past season and wasn’t much of a pass-catching factor. However, the two-time Pro Bowler and 2021 All-Pro is a game-wrecker on special teams.

2. WR Stefon Diggs (Texans)

He has put up big numbers in nine seasons with two different franchises. Now prolific wideout Stefon Diggs, obtained via trade from the Bills, hopes to help the Texans reach new heights. The defending division champions were a huge surprise in 2023, but have still never reached a conference title game.

Diggs’ resume includes 810 catches, 9,995 yards and 67 scores. He’s totaled 1,000-plus receiving yards in six consecutive seasons and was a Pro Bowler in each of his four years with the Bills. He’s totaled 100 or more receptions in four straight campaigns, and has 69 catches (4 TDs) in 14 career postseason games.
