2. Mason Cole

Mason Cole is a center by trade, but he has been a solid guard when asked to play that position. While he might be a little undersized for the job, he could garner consideration following Saahdiq Charles' abrupt retirement.

Daniel Brunskill was the Tennessee Titans' starter at right guard last year, but he's taken more reps as the backup center this year. If Brian Callahan elects to move him back to right guard to compete with Dillon Radunz and Andrew Rupcich, the Titans could be looking for another versatile interior lineman to fill that role.

On the other hand, if Brunskill stays buried on the depth chart, it could mean that the current staff doesn't view him as a solid backup. In that case, the team could save more than $3 million in cap space if they released Brunskill and they might be able to kill two birds with one stone if they think Cole is a better backup that they can sign for less money.
