The Tennessee Titans weren't going anywhere positive during the 2024 regular season and that's why they were busy ahead of the trade deadline. One Titans player dealt away was linebacker Ernest Jones, who Tennessee sent to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a player and a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Well, that fourth-round pick, which ended up being the 120th pick, has been used on a prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, meaning the trade is officially finalized.

The Titans landed Jerome Baker in the deal, who was a former third-round pick by the Dolphins in 2018. The 28-year-old linebacker played in Miami for six seasons before signing with the Seahawks and getting dealt quickly to Tennessee. He appeared in five games last year and notched 24 tackles and one sack before inking a one-year deal with the Browns this offseason.
The 120th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft ended up being Gunnar Helm, a tight end out of Texas. Helm had a great year for the Longhorns in 2024, notching 60 receptions for 786 yards and seven touchdowns and adding depth to the tight end position in Tennessee.

The Seahawks ended up re-signing Jones to a three-year deal worth $28.5 million this offseason so clearly the move ended well for the linebacker. He started 10 games last year for Seattle, tallying 94 tackles and half a sack. All they gave up in the process to land Jones was a fourth-rounder so this looks to have been a good trade for Seattle and one to forget for Tennessee.
We'll have to see if Helm ends up panning out though because if he does, then this deal won't look as bad. That being said, Jones was probably as good as gone in the offseason anyway and at least this way, the Titans got something in return for him.
