Tennessee Titans fans had the pleasure of watching tight end Delanie Walker ball out for their team for seven years. During Walker's seven years in Nashville, he was one of the more well-known tight ends in the league and was a three-time Pro Bowler (back when that meant more).

During an exclusive interview with FanSided, Walker was asked about his Mount Rushmore of tight ends and he gave some interesting answers. Walker even cheated a bit and included an extra name in his Mount Rushmore of tight ends, which we'll allow.

"Obviously, John Mackey got to be on there. John Mackey was the first tight end to be a tight end like us. This new era tight end. He was a receiving tight end," Walker said. "I got to go Shannon Sharp, man... When I was a kid, I didn't want to be a tight end. But when I saw Shannon Sharp, I was like, 'If I was ever a tight end, I'm going to be like Shannon Sharp.' Fast, make moves, catch, explosive... Got to go Tony Gonzalez. Who else would I put in there right now? Oh, let's go Jeremy Shockey. I like Jeremy Shockey... I like that bad boy mentality... And then the last person, man, I would have to say, man, I just like Travis [Kelce]. I like his game, where his stats are right now, you cannot leave him out, so it's got to be Travis."

Delanie Walker shares his Mount Rushmore of tight ends

So, to sum up, Walker picked John Mackey, Shannon Sharpe, Tony Gonzalez, Jeremy Shockey, and Travis Kelce for his Mount Rushmore (with one extra head). It's hard to blame him for any of these picks, especially since it's his opinion but all of those guys were ballers in their prime.

As for Walker, he spent the first seven years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, who spent a sixth-round pick on him in the 2006 NFL Draft. The Central Missouri product then joined the Titans in 2013 and finished out the rest of his career in Nashville, tallying over 4,400 yards receiving and finding the end zone 28 times.

It figures that a great tight end like Walker has such great taste in tight ends and it was fun to hear his thoughts there.
