At 1-3, the Tennessee Titans are already in a tough spot to start the season. But, things could get even worse due to the current quarterback situation.

With Will Levis banged up and also not yet performing the way the Titans would have liked, this team is very close to throwing in the towel on the 2024 season. That might sound harsh, but it's hard to imagine Tennessee ending up any better than 2-5 by the time these next three games are done with.

That means, the Titans could be one of the teams looking to sell by this year's trade deadline. Along with clubs like the Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers and a few others, Tennessee could be in for a productive deadline this year.

Which trades should fans be on the lookout for? There are three specific players who fit into new teams. Let's dive in a bit, here.

The Titans could trade DeAndre Hopkins to the Saints

Hopkins Saints trade

When thinking through a DeAndre Hopkins' trade value, you have to look at the other wide receiver trades that have happened this year. Keenan Allen went for a fourth rounder, while Stefon Diggs essentially went for the equivalent of a third.

Because Hopkins is a one-year rental, he won't go for a whole lot. But, the Saints make sense as a destination because of the way things might play out with Davante Adams and Amari Cooper. Adams very well could wind up with the Jets and Cooper could land with either the Chiefs or Bills.

The Titans could trade Treylon Burks to the BIlls

Looking at the wide receiver landscape including the top trade targets and likely destinations, Buffalo is up there with needy teams at the position. Buffalo has gotten by with players like Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel and Mack Hollins, but they are still lacking someone who can make a difference.

Now, Burks is no where near a no. 1 guy right now. But, maybe a change of scenery helps him come closer to living up to that first-round draft billing. It would be a tough pill to swallow to see a former first rounder get dealt for such a low cost, but at this point, the writing has been on the wall for Burks in Tennessee.

The Titans could trade Quandre Diggs to the Bucs

Finally, although the Titans defense has looked strong through the early portion of the season, there are pieces here that they might want to sell off, starting with safety Quandre Diggs. He's only on a one-year deal in Tennessee, so a trade like this might not even be worth it for Tampa Bay.

If the Titans had to include a conditional seventh rounder to get it done, then maybe that's the route they go. But, Tampa Bay is banged up in their secondary with Jordan Whitehead and Antoine Winfield Jr. nursing injuries and they could use the depth.

Diggs isn't what he used to be, but he's still a viable starting option as he's proved in Tennessee thus far.
