The Tennessee Titans dropped their third consecutive game of the 2025 season on Sunday, losing 41-20 to their division rival Indianapolis Colts. Rookie quarterback Cam Ward threw a pick-six early and never got into a rhythm, completing 23-of-38 passing attempts for 219 yards, one touchdown, and the aforementioned interception. The Titans' rebuild appeared in its infancy.

The new-look Titans are struggling. That was evident against a Colts team that entered Sunday's divisional contest a perfect 2-0. They are trending in different directions.

Which players managed to stand out — for better or worse? Let's analyze what occurred throughout Sunday's Week 3 loss to the Colts by identifying the duds.

Winners & Losers from Titans' 41-20 Week 3 defeat to Colts

Dud: Brian Callahan

The Titans' head coach continues to struggle with in-game management. After conservative play-calling near the conclusion of the second quarter, the Colts called a timeout. The Titans then called their own timeout. Despite having ample time to prepare for a 57-yard field goal attempt, the special teams unit took a delay of game penalty. Joey Slye's 62-yard follow-up kick was deflected.

Dud: Titans' pass rush

Dennard Wilson's defense did not sack Colts quarterback Daniel Jones on Sunday. They've registered a league-worst two sacks through three contests. On multiple occasions, they whiffed on Jones in the backfield, who escaped to consistently hurt the Titans with his legs and arm. The Titans spent portions of the offseason discussing how many sacks they missed last campaign, but it hasn't improved.

Dud: Tackling

Colts running back Jonathan Taylor ran for a 46-yard touchdown in the third quarter that extended the lead to 34-13. Taylor broke approximately four tackles en route to the explosive score, with L'Jarius Sneed making the final, pathetic attempt. The defense allowed 30-plus points for a second straight game, and they've allowed a run play of 45-plus yards in all three games.
