5 free agents the Tennessee Titans could go on a shopping spree for
Camryn Bynum, S
Camryn Bynum has continued to improve throughout the first four years of his career with the Minnesota Vikings. After mostly being a bench player in his rookie season, the safety put together a mediocre sophomore year as a starter. Last year, Bynum's third NFL season, saw his PFF grade jump from a 58 to a 73 and he led the league in solo tackles for a safety per PFF.
Bynum has versatility having played deep as a free safety, in the box, and as a slot defender. He's a sure tackler and solid blitzer, while also sitting top 10 in the league in interceptions this season. The former corner has a skillset to fit most schemes and has excellent range along the back end.
Amani Hooker and Bynum would form a fantastic duo for the Titans with both being versatile, allowing defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson to get creative with their usage. The team needs more bodies at safety with only Hooker and Julius Wood under contract next season. Bynum will be expensive if he gets out of Minnesota, but is a player the Titans need to consider to fill a starting role.
