Elijah Moore, WR
After the injury to starting quarterback Deshaun Watson, Elijah Moore seems to be showing signs of the player we saw in college and his rookie NFL season. Since the team's transition to Jameis Winston as the starter, Moore has averaged nearly 60 yards per game primarily from the slot wide receiver role. The young wideout broke on to the scene with six touchdowns in 11 games as a rookie, but struggled with Zach Wilson, Watson, Joe Flacco, and others mixing in as his quarterback in the following seasons.
Moore's skillset, including quick feet and solid route running ability, have landed him in the slot alongside Cedric Tillman and Jerry Jeudy. This new role has reduced his yards per reception, currently at a career low 8.1, but has the Ole Miss alum pacing to break his career high in receptions.
The Titans could lose Tyler Boyd and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in free agency, leaving little experience behind Calvin Ridley. Moore could come in to fill the slot position while being a long-term piece as the former second rounder is only 24 years old. A player that many Titans fans wanted in the 2021 NFL Draft could be an excellent flier to take in this free agent class.
