Aaron Banks, OG

Aaron Banks is in his third year as a full-time starter along the offensive line for the San Francisco 49ers. The Notre Dame product has primarily played left guard for the team and has appeared in 47 games between this year and the past two seasons, including playoffs.

Banks has graded out poorly as a pass protector, rating 84th among guards in PFF's pass protection grade in 2023. The offensive lineman has only been credited with allowing two sacks despite the poor pass blocking grade. The pending free agent ranks better as a run blocker and has been excellent in the 49ers' zone-blocking scheme.

Despite a massive 6-foot-5 and 325 pound frame with a wide build, Banks moves well and excels at getting out into space. This could be a great fit for Brian Callahan's scheme which heavily utilizes outside zone blocking schemes. The Titans have shown a desire to acquire big, bodied offensive lineman that move well, such as 2024 first round pick J.C. Latham.

Interior offensive line will be a big need for the Titans this offseason as they look to acquire a starting right guard and depth across all positions. Current starter Dillon Radunz as well as backups Andrew Rupcich, Daniel Brunskill, and Corey Levin are all set to be free agents. Even if the team decides to bring any of the current interior lineman back, Banks could provide an upgrade to a weaker spot along the offensive line.
