The Tennessee Titans are trending toward a massive fire sale, but which teams should they call to kick things off? In today's NFL, there really isn't any way to cut corners. The best teams in the league all had to go through some sort of rebuild to get where they are.

With the Titans having a rookie QB in Cam Ward and a first-year GM in Mike Borgonzi, the rebuild is only just beginning. It would be wise for the 1-4 Titans to be heavy sellers at the NFL trade deadline, as this team is quite a ways away from completing and could use the draft capital.

It's not clear, though, which teams could negotiate with the Titans for certain players. We covered that right here.

The Tennessee Titans need to get moving and kick-off this fire sale

Denver Broncos (Cody Barton, Chig Okonkwo)

Oddly enough, the Denver Broncos would really benefit from bringing Cody Barton back into the mix. One of three players on this list that signed with the Titans this offseason, Barton played the 2024 campaign with the Denver Broncos and was darn good. However, Denver decided to keep Alex Singleton over Barton, and that's backfired.

This would be a move that we don't typically see, but the Broncos could right a wrong here and grab Barton back from the Titans for a mid-late round draft pick. Chig Okonkwo might be another fit. The veteran TE was brought in from the previous regime and could bolster Denver's TE room, which is yet again not performing all that well this year.

Pittsburgh Steelers (Tyler Lockett)

How about this move? Tyler Lockett signed with the Titans this past offseason but has played in just 50% of the offensive snaps. He's caught just seven passes for 52 yards and is now 33 years old. Lockett might fit perfectly with the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team that not only has been aggressive this offseason, but has a former teammate of his in DK Metcalf.

The Steelers could use another WR, and Lockett heading to a winning team and reuniting with a key teammate is another move that makes a ton of sense.

Los Angeles Chargers (Kevin Zeitler)

Kevin Zeitler signed a one-year deal with the Tennessee Titans in the 2025 NFL Offseason, and while still a very good player, the Titans probably see why this signing perhaps wasn't the best one to make. The team's offensive line is solid on paper, but they aren't going to keep Zeitler around for the long-term, and there are a few playoff-caliber teams hurting for some OL help.

One of them would be the Los Angeles Chargers, a team that has not only seen tackles Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater go down, but have also seen their interior offensive line still struggle big-time. It's getting to the point that the Chargers' front office is actively failing their QB, Justin Herbert, so making a move like this does make a lot of sense.
