The Tennessee Titans have the ability to completely flip the script in the 2026 NFL offseason, as the presence of young quarterback Cam Ward, a new coach coming to town, and oodles of cap space could make it fairly easy for the team to plug many of their biggest holes.
Mike Borgonzi is likely well aware of the fact that the team needs to get Ward more terrific wide receivers who can improve the verticality of the passing game, speedy pass rushers who can replace the juice this team has lost over the years, and offensive tackles who could develop into eventual starters.
FanSided's most recent 2026 NFL Mock Draft has the Titans using the No. 4 overall pick in the draft on the best wide receiver available, taking Ohio State's Carnell Tate over Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson. After getting Ward a playmaker on the outside, Borgonzi could improve the pass rush and offensive line.
Tennessee used the No. 35 pick in the second round on Texas Tech speed rusher Romello Height, while the No. 66 pick in the third round was used to add Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller. With this trio of players, all three of the Titans' biggest needs could be checked off.
Titans add Carnell Tate, Romello Height in 2026 NFL Mock Draft
Tate, who tallied 875 yards and nine touchdowns as the No. 2 behind Jeremiah Smith with the Buckeyes, may not be the fastest receiver ever. However, the 6-3 dynamo has the best hands in the class, tremendous verticality, and the physicality needed to be a true 1,000-yard threat right out of the gate.
Height played at four schools (Auburn, USC, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech) in five years, and he is extremely light at 240 pounds, but he is a premium athlete who flies off the edge and has a deep collection of pass rush moves. He could be a menace on passing downs.
Miller is one of the better pure right tackle prospects in this class. Even though his footwork needs some fine-tuning, the long-limbed 6-6 tackle plays with the aggression Tennessee wants to see in the running game while flexing worthwhile pass protection upside.
The defense won't be a sieve, Ward will be kept upright, and he has a new No. 1 target in Tate. No matter what else happens in the offseason, checking those boxes when the Draft comes around will spell success for Tennessee as they try to build a contender.
