Tennessee Titans should sign receiver DJ Chark

As I said with Thielen, Tennessee needs multiple receivers. Adding Thielen would be great, if he still wants to play football. But adding Chark would be excellent as well.

Both Thielen and DJ Chark would offer Tennessee bigger receivers who can be used to pick up key first down on third and short situations but would also be great red zone targets.

In the case of Chark, he isn’t just big, he is explosive as well. The 6’4″ and 200-pound receiver has averaged 17.7 yards a reception over the last two seasons (37 catches) and 14.4 yards a catch over his five-year career. He actually made the Pro Bowl in 2019 with the Jacksonville Jaguars after having 73 catches for 1,008 yards and 8 touchdowns.

3 potential suitors for Derrick Henry in a trade. light. Must Read

The issue for Chark has been health. He has never played a full season and has missed 19 games over the last two years. He needs to add a bit of weight and strength but all the raw tools are there for him to be a very productive receiver in an offense that features Derrick Henry.

The receiver market seems to be a bit suppressed currently compared to years past. The Tennessee Titans still have a decent enough cap space to sign a potentially very impactful player or three. Adding good receivers and a cornerback should make Tennessee better and potentially get them back to the playoffs.
