Tennessee Titans mock draft: Rounds 5 through 7

5. player. 843. . Guard. Utes . Braeden Daniels

Time to get back to rebuilding the offensive line.

The good thing is that most good interior offensive line players – that being guards and centers – do not need to be drafted high. With guards and centers, it’s more about girth and technique. Daniels offers athleticism while having the frame to put on more pounds. He is 6’4″ and 300 pounds but could gain 20 more easily. He is also versatile enough to play either guard spot.

Center. Nittany Lions . Juice Scruggs. 6. player. 806.

Scruggs can also play multiple positions but his best fit is likely at center and he would start there sooner as well. He’s got good size at 6’3″ and 310 pounds and he was well-coached at Penn State. He also had tons of playing experience at a high level of college and could be the Titans starter at center in 2023.

Michael Jefferson plays for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns but could have played at a higher level of college football and still been productive. He is a big receiver, just what Tennessee needs, at 6’4″ and 205 pounds, and should be able to gain more weight. This should make him a very good red zone target but he also has good enough speed to be a downfield threat.

The 2023 NFL Draft might not be sexy for the Tennessee Titans but they should be able to draft players at positions of need. Tennessee already has some good skill players but they need to get better up front offensively. The team is still good enough to win next season and a few productive draft pieces could propel the Titans back into the playoffs.
