Tennessee Titans mock draft: Rounds 2 and 3

Wildcats . Felix Anudike-Uzomah. 2. player. 823. . Edge rusher

Bud Dupree is likely to be cut once the new fiscal year starts for the NFL on March 15th, but even if he somehow remains on the roster, he has badly underperformed and the Titans need more talented players who can chase down opposing quarterbacks. Anudike-Uzomah has the raw ability to play in the NFL and just needs a little time to season.

But there is little doubt that he runs with a high motor and has a need to compete. He is 6’3″ and 255 pounds with speed and the ability to add pounds without losing speed. He will be a good rotational player to begin with and could be a three-down player by 2024.

Drew Sanders. 2. player. 844. . Linebacker. Razorbacks

Besides the offensive line, Tennessee needs massive help at linebacker.

In fact, with the next two picks, I was able to take two linebackers who can start right away. Will Sanders be around at pick 46 overall? Probably not, but PFN’s simulator had him there so I chose him. Sanders can rush the passer (9.5 sacks in 2022) and play the run (13.5 tackles for loss). This would be a huge get for Tennessee.

3. player. 878. . Linebacker. Hawkeyes . Jack Campbell

Campbell might not be around in the real world in round three but he was in this mock. He should supply immediate help against the run. Not that Tennessee was bad against the run in 2022 because they definitely weren’t, but having a linebacker who can be great in that area gives the defense overall more flexibility.
