Best NFL prop bets for Texans vs. Titans in Week 16 (Henry keeps owning Houston)
By Josh Yourish
The Tennessee Titans just watched the Jacksonville Jaguars pound the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football and got the news that Ryan Tannehill is out for the season.
Malik Willis is now in at QB and are holding on for dear life when they face the 1-win Houston Texans in Nashville.
Can they white knuckle their way to a division title? Well, with Derrick Henry getting to face the Texans this week, they’ve got a decent shot, despite Vegas thinking otherwise.
We don’t know much about this game or these quarterbacks, but we do know that Henry dominates Houston, so we’re all good with a few enticing prop bets.
Best NFL Prop Bets for Texans vs. Titans
Derrick Henry Over 1.5 Touchdowns (+390)
Texans Team Total Under 16.5 (-116)
Amari Rodgers Anytime TD (+500)
Derrick Henry Over 1.5 Touchdowns (+330)
That is absolutely absurd production against one team. He’s played 11 games against the Texans in his career and has rushed for 1,254 yards on 202 carries, that’s 6.21 yards a carry. He also has 11 touchdowns in those games. Good luck Lovie Smith.
Texans Team Total Under 16.5 (-116)
The Texans are riding with dual quarterbacks I guess? Davis Mills with a few Jeff Driskel cameos doesn’t really get the juices flowing for me. Tennessee’s defense ranks amongst the worst in the league against the pass, but lucky for them, neither of those guys know how to throw a football. Oh and will Dameon Pierce out, they can’t really run it either.
Amari Rodgers Anytime TD (+500)
The Titans’ secondary has really struggled of late. They allow a league worst 284.2 passing yards a game and have given up 25 passing touchdowns. Mills and Driskel aren’t good, but let’s take a chance on a +500 payout.
