Amari Cooper should intrigue the Tennessee Titans

Adding playmakers to the Tennessee Titans offense is the top priority this offseason, and if Amari Cooper becomes available he would be an ideal fit in Nashville.

There have been rumors that Amari Cooper might be on the chopping block in Dallas for a few reasons. The general theory is that the Cowboys could cute Amari Cooper and use that money to bring back Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz.

After drafting Ceedee Lamb in the first round two years ago, the long-term future of Amari Cooper has been in question. He has a massive contract (see below) and trading him would be a non-starter without Dallas taking on a lot of his guaranteed contract, which would defeat the point.

Today, Adam Schefter reported that Amari Cooper was “likely” to be cut in the next week or so.

So the question that the Tennessee Titans have to answer are:

1. Would the Titans be interested and could they make a deal work?

2. Is he worth those moves it would take to sign him?

3. Just how much would he impact the rest of the offseason for the Tennessee Titans?

Let’s take a look and break all that down step by step before we jump to conclusions.
