Ryan Tannehill isn’t the only one to blame for Tennessee Titans offense

Let me begin this article by stating the obvious/repeating what everyone else has said — Ryan Tannehill is all but a lock to be the starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans next year.

Yes, the rumors about Aaron Rodgers coming to town have been circulating, but the team would have to gut much of their current roster to make it happen, and it is just a total long shot. Also, he is the exact opposite of what Mike Vrabel and Jon Robinson want in a human being.

That might not be something that sits well with Titans fans, and honestly, it should not. This is now two straight years that Tannehill has turned in subpar playoff performances, and he has not been consistent enough to show that he can be the guy who takes this team to a Super Bowl.

Even for his issues, to say that he is the one part of the Titans that is holding them back is wrong. Their offense had a lot of problems the whole season, and they are more deep-rooted than just one player.

This is something that the Tennessee Titans have all but admitted with the addition of Tim Kelly as the new “passing game coordinator” (more on that later). But, let’s break down the narrative on what Ryan Tannehill is and where he has to do better if the Titans are going to make a playoff run instead of a playoff appearance next season.
