X factors for the Titans vs. the Bengals: Head coach, Mike Vrabel

Mike Vrabel has done a terrific job with the Titans over the past few years. With playoff appearances in three of his four seasons as the lead man, the days of the Titans being at the bottom of the AFC barrel are long gone.

Vrabel is experienced in every sense of the word at this point. From winning a playoff game in 2019 to the Titans pushing out one of the best overall defenses year in and year out.

Even as we look at their results this season, Vrabel really stamped himself as one of the best coaches in the league. After racking up a 6-2 record with running back Derrick Henry in the lineup, Vrabel guided the Titans to a 6-3 record without the all-world back in the lineup.

He’ll have his hands full dealing with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Joe Mixon but Vrabel is a terrific football mind. If anyone can solve the puzzle of the ridiculous Bengals offense, Vrabel is the guy to do it.
