Ranking the best landing spots Harold Landry III: 2. Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams believed they were getting an absolute game-changer when they made a midseason trade for former Super Bowl MVP Von Miller. In seven of his first eight healthy seasons, Miller easily registered double-digit sacks. He was also a consistent member of Pro Bowl teams and All-Pro squads.

But, in eight games with the Rams, the 32-year-old has seemingly gotten old overnight. With only five total sacks with the Rams and 9.5 total, Miller isn’t the same disruptive force that he once was. Luckily for the Rams, since Miller is an unrestricted free agent this upcoming offseason, they won’t be obligated to bring him back.

To replace him, the Rams should look to Harold Landry. He’s considerably younger, more tenacious in his pursuit of the quarterback, and has a ton more upside, this one should be a no-brainer. Show Miller the door and once you slam it in his face, allow Landry to walk right in shortly after.
