2. Harold Landry has the Tennessee Titans highest sack total since Y2K

The Tennessee Titans have had some great defenses in the last two decades. Players like Keith Bulluck, Brian Orakpo, Derrick Morgan, Jurrell Casey, Albert Haynesworth, Kyle Vanden Bosch, and Kevin Carter have all made an impact on quarterbacks they were facing.

However, Harold Landry is sitting at 11 sacks this season and he still has two games left to try to set a new standard for Tennessee Titans’ pass rushers.

Jevon Kearse had his 14.5 sack campaign in 1999 and that is the most that any player has gotten since the team moved to Tennessee. In fact, since 2000, the closest that anyone has gotten was Jason Babin in 2010 when he racked up 12.5 sacks.

If Harold Landry can find a way to average a sack a game against some pretty sad pass-blocking offensive lines in the Miami Dolphins and the Houston Texans, then his 13 sacks could be the new standard sack artists in Nashville.

13 sacks would be the 6th best season for a Tennessee Titans/Houston Oilers pass rusher in franchise history, one of the oldest franchises in the NFL.
