5. This team is tough

You can call the Tennessee Titans versatile and resilient with the ability to exploit the weaknesses of opponents while deemphasizing their weaknesses, but in all honesty, the best way to describe them is tough.

They want to be the toughest team on the field at every position and they want to have the reputation of the bullies coming to take over your block. And you know what, they have earned it.

For years the common complaint is that if the Titans can’t run the ball they will fold or run out of options. Well, over the past three weeks the Tennessee Titans have run the ball nearly 100 times and they are only averaging about 2.7 yards per rush.

They find ways to win and in two of those three games, the result was never really in question. This team’s motto seems to be “it wasn’t pretty, but it is beautiful”, and they are right. In the moment it isn’t always enjoyable to watch, but this team wins the key matchups and they in the games, and in the end, isn’t that the whole point?
