Tennessee Titans trade targets from the Washington Football Team

Brandon Scherff, right guard

For whatever reason Tennessee Titans right guard Nate Davis has taken a step back this season. There is no reason to think that he won’t get back to the near Pro Bowl level that he was playing at in 2020, but it is concerning this season.

On top of that, Rodger Saffold has really struggled to stay on the field this season. It may be a better decision, in the long run, to let him take some time off and fully heal before the playoffs.

For some reason, the Tennessee Titans coaches are trying to take a good tackle prospect and turn him into a guard. To their credit, Dillon Radunz held up well when called upon against the Kansas City Chiefs, but it would sure be nice if the Titans could put him at left tackle instead of Bobby Hart.

Scherff is playing on the franchise tag this year and the financials confuse me a little bit, but if Robinson could get Washington to eat some of that guaranteed money then Scherff could do a few things for Tennessee.

There doesn’t seem to be a long-term future for Scherff and WFT, so why not get something back for him instead of letting him walk for free? Keep in mind, Washington would only get a compensatory pick for him if they didn’t make any big free-agent signings.
